What's new in the March 2025 Update?
This page describes changes to the ZAP as a result of our refreshed user interface.
We are excited to launch an updated ZAP user interface to improve access to data and lay the foundation for future improvements to workflows and interactions. The changes to the user interface are not expected to be disruptive to any workflows. A list of important changes to be aware of is below.
When will I see this change?
The change will begin to roll out in the ZAP on March 17 through March 19. If you have any questions reach out to [email protected].
What's changing?
Collapsible menu and more screen space
The menu on the left side of the screen now collapses, allowing for even more screen space for the clinical data and details. This allows for details to have dedicated space on the right hand side of the screen, allowing for more in depth review of clinical data.
When you collapse the menu and then navigate to another patient, the ZAP remember the previous state of the menu and will open with the menu collapsed.

Records requests have moved
The button to request records manually has moved from the left hand menu to the top of the patient chart - next to the patient demographics. You can also access the request records button in the Overview.

Updates to interacting with Documents
Document links in the Encounters & Notes section now always open source documents in the active window. Use the link at the top of each document to open them in a new tab.

The Menu moves at small window sizes for the Zus Web Application
When the browser window is narrow, the menu moves from the left hand side to the menu at the top left.

Does this change anything in the ZAP in an EHR?
All of the embedded ZAP experiences will benefit from this update, and there is no change to any of the existing EHR reconciliation workflows.
