Immunizations

Summary

The Immunizations component allows providers to understand the vaccinations their patients have received.

Users can:

  • See a deduplicated list of immunizations reported by your organization and other providers
  • View source documents that mention each immunization

Immunizations List

The Immunizations list shows immunizations from your organization and outside provider records, summarized by CVX code (where available) so users have a simple, deduplicated immunizations list to review.

  • Note: the Immunizations component will be blank if Zus did not find immunizations in a patient's medical history or if your organization has never requested medical history for a patient through Zus.

The red dot to the left of the "Immunizations" title indicates the presence of new data. New immunizations are displayed in bold font.

You can mark a new immunization as read by clicking "Mark As Viewed" above or by clicking on the immunization to view its details, which automatically marks the immunization as viewed.

If you believe an immunization record for a patient is incorrect, you can click "Dismiss" to remove it from the Immunization list. Select "+ Add Filters" and click "Show Dismissed Records" to show dismissed immunizations, which will appear in gray font.

Immunization Details

The details summary is a quick view of available information for an immunization, including the reporting organization, manufacturer, and lot number, where available. Clicking on the "Source Document" link will show the clinical document the immunization was extracted from.
